Selldorf Architects is honored and thrilled to be included on the shortlist for the National Gallery London’s competition to enhance the Grade I listed Sainsbury Wing in preparation of their 200th Anniversary celebration in 2024. The project includes a reconfiguration of the ground floor entrance to enhance the welcome experience, upgrades to visitor amenities, a new Research Center, and improvements to the public realm via the connection between the Gallery and Trafalgar Square. The highly competitive selection process is being managed by Malcolm Reading Consultants; our team includes Purcell, Vogt Landscape Architects, Arup, and AEA consulting.
